About us

Cheryl Daines

Cheryl studied veterinary physiotherapy BSc (Hons) for three years at Warwickshire College gaining a first class degree in 2021. Cheryl is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists and is fully insured by specialised  professional and public liability insurance.


Having been a loving and caring pet owner since early childhood, she understands the requirements of owners and always aims to exceed owners expectations whilst having the animals welfare at heart. 


Cheryl currently has Calvados a 17 year old Trakehner cross who can be credited for kick starting her journey into veterinary physiotherapy. Together they compete at low level hunter trials and showjumping. She also has her rescue dog Tia a 7 year old GSD cross who she trains agility for fun.

Offering a variety of treatment techniques underpinned by scientific and evidence based research to treat a variety of clients; who may be suffering from musculoskeletal or neurological dysfunction, recovering from injury or surgery or for general maintenance of companion, working or performance animals.

Our Services

Equine Physiotherapy - £50

Appointment price includes a full functional assessment and appropriate treatments  which may include manual therapies, electrotherapies, exercise prescription and home management advice. Be prepared to allow up to two days off following treatment.


Initial appointments will last approximately 1-1.5 hours, subsequent follow up appointments will last approximately 1 hour.


Please ensure your horse is clean and dry and that there is a suitable area for assessment and treatment, this ideally will have a level, firm floor and provide covered from the elements.


Full payment will be required on the day by cash or card. If treatment is part of an insurance claim payment will still be required on the day and an invoice will be provided for you to send to your insurance company.

 

Canine Physiotherapy - £35

Appointment price includes a full functional assessment and appropriate treatments, which may include manual therapies, electrotherapies, exercise prescription and home management advice.


Initial appointments will last approximately 1 hour, subsequent follow up appointments will last approximately 45 minutes.


Please ensure your dog is clean and dry and that there is a suitable area for assessment and treatment, this ideally will have a level, firm floor and provide covered from the elements.

Full payment will be required on the day by cash or card. If treatment is part of an insurance claim payment will still be required on the day and an invoice will be provided for you to send to your insurance company. 

If your animal is currently under veterinary care for lameness or performance issues  veterinary consent will be required before an appointment can be made.  Veterinary consent is not required for maintenance or performance care if the animal is fit, sound and healthy.
